I can't believe it is october already , where is the time going??? I am giving up on selling halloween,this holiday is never good to me so i'm moving on to xmas now. I sold a few tag sets on etsy and hope that sales are picking up. I got a new snowflake punch and had to play with it right away, paired with this awesome stamp they turned out so cute, I can't wait to make more cards with this awesome punch!!

Hi everyone, I decided to get a zibbet shop. I plan on keeping etsy but I will not be listing 3 things a day as per normal. The listing fees just add up to much and I am not selling like I did 3 years ago to justify it. I signed up for a pro selling account and so far I love it. I'm still waiting for my first sale but i'm hoping some of my etsy customers that are now on zibbet will start buying from my new shop. It will really help me put some of my own money back into my pocket. Wish me luck :)

My best friend came over yesterday to scrapbook and I fell in love with her greetfarm stamp of this cute little guy. I added a flower to make her a lovely girly fawn, I stamped off a bunch of images as I wanted to see if they sell well. If they do I know what my next stamp ordered online is gonna be LOL LOL

I was playing around in my scrapbooking room and came across this stamp i bought last year and decided to make some xmas tags. I just love the embossing and layers to these tags. They are a whopping 4.25 inches by 2.75 inches and will make those xmas gifts pop this year. Each image is stamped and colored in by hand which makes them quite a bit of work but so so cute!!!

Well this pretty boy is almost 16 years old and starting to show his age. We recently took him to the vet to have him checked out as he is not eating and loosing weight. They looked him over and took some blood and he has an overactive thyroid. They said radiation treatment which is 2000 dollars could help but not guaranteed. We opted for 34 dollar pills. Once on them for 2 weeks he will need to be rechecked to see if they are working. I really think he needs to get some bad teeth pulled as he can't even chew his food. So I need to talk to the vet again and get him back in. Otherwise she said he is in good shape for a senior.

I have been crocheting for years now and just love how relaxing it can be. My etsy friend Angelica lives is the hot state of Arizona and asked me if I could crochet some small doggy booties. So ta da here they are!!! She wanted purple and pink ribbon, sounds like a little puppy diva to me LOL LOL I sure hope they fit, and can't wait to see a pic of her pooch in them.

Hummingbird Minis

I just love these little note cards and I love love my new copic markers. I am now having alot of fun coloring in my rubber stamped images. I've done a take on these cards before but I used a different flower stamp and I cut out the hummingbird and used foam dots on him to make him 3D. This time I stamped him and the flowers then cut out one flower and added it with 3D foamies to make one flower stand out. I am really happy with this design :)

Baby Boy Afghan

I recently did a baby afghan for an upcoming coworker. She picked out the yarn and pattern and I offered to make it for her. Don't think I will ever work with this yarn ever again, it seemed like the longest project ever. It was crocheted with 2 strands of yarn but there was a tread woven in with the yarn and it was just too loopy for me and hard to work with. I hope she likes it, if not oh well LOL It just wouldn't have been yarn I would have picked, the colors are really nice though :)

Me and Dave have been working hard to transform the house we bought back in april. So far all the carpeting is gone on the stairs and upper level of the house. The ceilings and walls are painted in the entryway, hallway, and 3 bedrooms. Now we just finished laying new hardwood flooring in the living room and hallway. Just got the 3 bedrooms left to do. I love my new living room.

I just love making my own gift tags for my xmas presents, it is so fun to mix and match with what paper i'm gonna use for wrapping. I stamped this tree and added glitter glue to represent ornaments. They are so much prettier in person and can never get the pics to do the product justice. I would love to do more halloween but the stuff just isn't selling. So time to move on lol

Oh my gosh I just love this paper!!! I bought a small halloween stack at michaels as I do not sell many halloween items. So I didn't want to put much money into paper this year. This small paper stack of 4x6 of 24 sheets was almost 9 dollars alone. So I will have to price these cards accordingly. These spiders are fuzzy textured and just so much fun. I thought this image went perfectly as well. I just think these are such fun cards, and hope they sell well. Thanks for looking :)

Well I got a bit of a surprise today, Dave came home early and said he quit his job!!! Well a bit concerning as I haven't found a job since moving yet. Then he decided to start ripping out our staircase LOL. We plan on ripping out all the carpet to lay new birch hardwood flooring. With my allergies and having pets, I am quite excited to get this carpet gone and new floor laid. I will keep the blog updated with before and after pics. I can't wait!!!

Custom Hummingbird Tag Order

I finally got a nice size custom order in my etsy shop it has been soooooooooooo long. She seen the tags in my shop and wanted the number 70 stamped in the bottom corner. Her mom turns 70 and these lovely tags are going to hawaii!! All 78 of them :) Took a bit over 3 hours, which isn't bad. The hummingbird was time consuming as he had to be stamped then colored then, then cut out by hand with scissors. I hope I can get some more orders in the future, I used to be swamped at one time LOL

I made some cute ladybug tags today. I couldn't decide whether to use patterned paper or an embossed background. So I did a set of both. I think I like the embossed cards better, I love how the flowers are subtle on these cards. The other ones I did and it was missing something so I just stamped thank you in the corner, and it made the world of difference :)

I just love this stamp and wanted to do some gift tags. I have done a few mini note cards with this stamp and just love how they turned out. I love the patterned paper with golds and greens. I should make more reg sized cards, but they are just not selling and i'm getting stuck with so many of them. So for now I will just work on mini note cards and tags. Reg sized cards it would be nice to just get orders for them, and make them as they are requested.

Well it is nice to be moved and settled, I still have alot of odds and ends to do but so far so good. Today is a cleaning behind appliance day as we have all new stainless steel appliances arriving tomorrow.

Finally settled is good old Nova Scotia

Well it was a long haul but i'm finally moved and settled in NS. I want to thank all my blog followers who haven't deleted me. I appreciate everyone who looks and checks out my blog.

We are finally in our house, what a stressfull time that was and I have never done so much cleaning in all my life. I don't think the previous owners believed in it LOL but i'm getting there slowly.

My etsy shop if finally back open and desperatly needs to be restocked, I will get there eventually, I still got alot of things with house to do, but baby steps :)

Landed in Ontario

Well the house is sold and new owner took over, we left Alberta on friday and started out cross country treck. We landed in Ontario today, we are making good time, Dave's dad lives in Berry so we are gonna visit there for a few days before we head out again. I am really missing my etsy shop and hope we are moved and situated soon. I feel naked with my shop closed LOL

Our New Potiental House!!

Well we are really enjoying our visit to nova scotia to do our house hunting trip. We did bid on a house and lost it so we had to get back at it again. We put in a offer yesterday on this beautiful home in porter's lake dartmouth. It looks like a really nice quiet subdivision. The house is only 10 years old, and besides having to change the carpet there really isn't much to do.

Life is so hetic here, good thing i'm laid off or I don't know how I would manage. Even if my boss called me in I would have to turn him down. Dave got part time work till we sell the house making more then me so when we have showings I will be the one to tidy up and get the dog out of house. We have a first meeting with the real estate agent tomorrow, so i'm excited to see what she thinks we should list it for.

My dad came out for a nice week visit, it was so good to see him as it was 3 years since I was home for a visit. Thought I would share these pics of my dad. One is with out dog hunter, and the other I took at west edmonton mall.

I will try to keep my blog updated, but has been very daunting. Every minute I have i'm trying to make stuff to list in my etsy shop :)

No i'm not installing a bathroom in my scrapbooking room. I'm living in renovation land. This weekend we tore up the bathroom to lay new ceramic tile, and where did my toilet land, yep you guessed it ... in my room!!!! It is such a disaster area. I can't get motivated or have the time to create anything lately.

We are in the process of getting our house done to soon put it on the market. We are soon going to be moving across country to live back home in nova scotia. I am looking foward to being close to my friends and family again,, till then we got so much to do. I dread putting my etsy shop in vacation mode, but for right now i'm not going to accept custom orders, and only sell what I have made on hand. I will try to sneak in new things, but this will be hard to accomplish. Thought I would share some of my room pics. Later I will show you my dining room, lol that is a different blog post!!!

Oh my gosh it has been forever since I did a blog post, wow i've been so busy with my full time job with xmas rushes coming in and working overtime, I just haven't had time to blog or even list much on etsy. I still haven't gotten my shopping done nor is my tree up. I did take a few minutes tonight to make these adorable penguin tags. I love the blues!

I am taking a break from winter and xmas stuff. I thought I would do some cupcake tags. I love the sentiment on them!!! They set these off nicely. Oh I seen this cute little mitten stamp and just knew it would make the cutest tags!! I love how these turned out. I stamped the snowflake on the tags, and stamped the word brrrr!! Heheheheh great for the long winter season

Well my good friend cherilyn showed me this cute stamp on etsy. One of my fav stamp shops. Seeing that a polar bear is kind of my shop mascot I just had to get it. I love this stamp :) It goes my with shop perfectly :)

Scalloped Snowflake minis

I thought I would play with a new snowflake stamp I got today. I really do love the scalloped cards I have done in the past. I love the red and white combo. The pretty sheer ribbon just makes these so pretty. I would love to try embossing the snowflakes on some clear vellum. I think that would look awesome.

House Card

I recently got a request for a New Home Card. I usually rely on rubberstamping for my cards but had nothing relating to a new house stamp. So I dusted off my cricut and went to town playing. Took a bit longer then expected as I don't use my cricut for cards. But I really love how it turned out.
Hope she is happy with it.

Thanksgiving Poodle Gift Tags

I got a request for some poodle gift tags, and I love how they turned out. I decided to just do thanksgiving colors, add a leaf, and cut out my cute poodles. I love them!!! I have a cute frog stamp which has 3 frogs side by side. I thought it would be fun to make some gift tags. So I stamped the frogs then used a circle punch to cut them out. I love how they turned out !!! So fun!!

My First Afhgan

I was so proud of this project. Since paper crafting though I haven't touched the crocheting, I need to get back into it.

Polar Bear Love

Well there is no two ways about it, I love polar bears!! They are just too cute. So seeing that they are kinda like my shop mascot for my online shops, when winter comes I just can't help myself but to use any of my polar bear stamps that I have. I recently got a new stamp set but it took me a bit to figure out a layout with this guy. The penguin stamp was easy as he was so small, but this guy is bigger and not good for mini cards or tags. So I was left with doing a reg sized card with this guy. I'm pretty happy with the turn out! Thanks for checking out my blog.

I found some bright fun cheery fruit paper and dug out my apple stamp, I love how they turned out. I needed a break from winter and xmas stuff as i've been doing so much of it, I got a sewing machine stamp coming in the mail, now that I can't wait to get. My coworker wanted a happy anniversary card, and her husband is a tailor. So I hunted for a sewing machine stamp and found a great one. So keep an eye out for some sewing cards :)

Well fall is closely upon us, so I decided to play with some new stamps. I like orange cardstock and the brown and red accents just seem to fit with these cards. I love fall it is one of my most favorite times of year. Not too hot or to cold just right. Christmas is just around the corner, so enjoy fall!!
